Get Involved

Volunteer

As a small, non-profit ministry, our clinic depends heavily on volunteers. 50% of our services come from volunteers who graciously serve as advocates or administrative support. Volunteers make this ministry possible.

Advocates serve a regular weekly 4 hour shift and provide options counseling and other patient support. Our advocates need to be highly discerning, full of compassion and great listeners.

Mentors meet with one or more former patients for one hour a week in Hope’s Parenting Initiative. Mentorees will learn parenting skills while also earning valuable baby items such as car seats and strollers.

Events, Photographers

Other volunteers serve in vital roles as well. Event volunteers help us execute our Dessert and Run/Walk fundraisers. Photographers provide "photo shoots" with patients and their babies, or they may photograph our events.

Here are a few ways you can join us in providing Hope for Salem:

  • Advocate (Options Counseling)
  • Mentor
  • Events
  • Photographer
